The club definitely wanted him to stay.
He wanted to go to the NRL.
Newcastle, Melbourne, Brisbane & Canberra have been targeting young Wigan forwards since 2020.
KPP had the opportunity to leave last year but opted to honour his contract with Wigan. |

What I'm trying to say is that if the club wanted to hold him to his contract then that's what would happen. It's literally a legally binding contract. If they club said we've got you for two years and you're not leaving, then he wouldn't be able to go. |
