My thought would be IF he does sign we would look to use him in the Kade Ellis style as a middle playing Prop and 13 once he returns from his loan spell with Trinity (should the information turn out to be correct).

As people have said Cooper will likely be gone and potentially Mago, there is always the fear Havard ends up in the NRL and also Smithies so in a years time there could be quite a clear path to the 17 or at least the peripheries.

If Smithies keeps playing how he’s playing now, I’ll be surprised if he’s here in 2025. Especially with him getting a new agent.
