Not quite seen it with Eseh when I’ve watched him so far. He looks the part physically but doesn’t seem overly hard to deal with. He’s very young, so it’s very early days and if the club see something in him, that’s fine by me but it’s not one I’m hugely fussed on either way.

My source showed me a message directly from Carter saying he'd sold Eseh to Wigan and they were getting him back on loan. Its as good a source as you get unless Carter is misleading him but I can't see why he would

Whoever gets him, is getting a player with massive potential. Obviously everyone will point towards his size, but what really struck me was how he puts himself about. The last home Vs Wakey, he was niggling and flying into Isa.

Eseh is a quality young prop.

That's what I was asking myself he is untried it's not like we are getting an out and out right second row or so on with a proven track record. That's one slot that's slightly up for grabs but with Jnr showing loads of potential and Walters incoming and with Isa going round again even that's covered. Would I swap him for Bev at 6 I'm not jumping through hoops to see it to say the least.
I'm still being told as it stood few months back that we was in for him but nothing new on if it's happening I did notice on a few media outlets again last few days in the story going around again. It seems they don't have a clue quoting Wigan distancing themselves but then that as a club they don't comment on rumours.
I would love to see us fill that third marquee but even if we could sign anyone homegrown marquee wise it would be limited so who knows, only other thing would be if they know Isa is getting dispensation for time served although I imagine Bev and Jai are already filling two spots for non fed marquee.

I don't know why Isa would get a dispensation, his situation is totally different to that of Tommy's.

The Saints fan that said weeks ago that Walmsley would be back for Hull has also said Saints have signed Eseh.

He is very raw and would be a project signing but I was impressed with him at our place when he put himself about and put some great shots on our pack. He certainly doesn’t lack aggression.

I hope that this is true. He would be a "project" signing however, going on loan to get regular game time and at the end of the loan period Cooper and Mago will be out of contract so it could be a good piece of longer term planning. I touted the lad a while ago I think after the home game against Wakey where he really put himself about and he had a real dig at Isa which brought a huge grin to Isa's face.

There's definitely some movement between Wigan and Wakefield, regardless of Eseh.
