| Fair play to KPP, he’s finishing as you’d hope every player would-making an impact and throwing everything in to it. It’s taken a maybe a bit too long to see this version but I’m glad he’ll exit on really good terms. I’m excited by Walters though and he looks extremely talented. In terms of a like for like, I don’t think we could’ve done much better. The emergence of Nsemba as well leaves us in a good spot. Those are two absolute monsters we have available in that back row and to think the surface has hardly been scratched in regards to their potential, it’s looking good.

| Very content with our props for next year.
Byrne
Havard
Mago
Dupree
Ellis
Cooper (fingers crossed for a full recovery)
Chan
Hill
Dupree instead of Singo is a game changer.
Mago and Ellis completely settled at Wigan now.
Byrne and Havard have shown their career best form this year and hope for another kick on next year.
Walters will be used in the KPP role.

27588.gif "Games as big as a grand finals define individuals and clubs. Remember we are only renting these shirts, I had my time in Pat Richards shirt. Ellery and Faz had there time in Sean's, Hampo and Radders in Sam's. You have to make a mark in these shirts that's still there the day you hand it over to someone else. So be aware for 80 minutes you are not only playing but also writing history and creating a legacy. How many people get to actually write history, not many. A big stage demands big players, be inspired. You play for Wigan, now go do it. Good luck." - Martin Offiah, 2010.:27588.gif |

The Chan signing is a bit of a puzzler. Not got in the Catalans side much this season and not sure if he's better than what we had. Time will tell though - the club must see potential

Who is he replacing though? It’s looking likely he is replacing Ramon Silva so looks an improvement. Chan is very small for a prop but he looks fast and has intensity, he’s not going to be in the first choice 17 (certainly not to start with) but I think he could go well off the bench with a couple of high intensity short bursts.

| It’s true that hullfc isn’t a good look atm,we have had a show for the last 4/5 years due to Radford dishing out big contracts to his mates, then last standing in and then the 2yrs under hodgson band some god awful signings and yes Pearson is to blame but now we have had the massive clear out we needed and a coach who knows how to win and doesn’t care who he gets rid of.we aren’t as rich as certain clubs as we are paying back the Covid loan which without we would have gone tits up…as for our city,it’s not perfect but neither is Wigan, but I wouldn’t go rubbishing your town or team on our forum and a lot of your posters are very good and knowledgeable but you seem to have a arrogant few who now you have a new owner seem to think money is no stumbling block

| I wouldn’t take it personally, it’s all a bit of banter. I think people are sensible enough to realise Hull are a massive club and a strong Hull would be great for the game. I think we’ll see a real uplift from Hull next year, Tony Smith very rarely fails to improve teams and he’s really going in strong now on getting players out and getting his own in. The move to let Gareth Ellis go was pretty ruthless as well but it’s another sign that he’s putting his own stamp on things.
As for Hull the City, well I don’t know much about it as a whole but I wish we had some pubs as good as the ones I went to in the old town last year.

| I wouldn't take offence or to heart.
For me and most for the good of RL I wish Hull was up there regularly challenging with 20k fans on every week which I believe is realistic. I know your probably not going to like the next bit but that goes for your rivals across town/city. RL needs strong teams all the best of luck achieving that. I don't think many don't respect FC or their fans if you dig below the banter.

| Field looks like he’s playing with a smile on his face and really enjoying his rugby…the same with French…I don’t understand why people think there’s something going to happen with one of them when they’re both under contract and are clearly such an important part of our team. Unless I have completely missed something?

| Oli Pratt is an interesting one. Very very good young player, looks very capable of going on to be a top class centre.
I personally hope he stays at Wakefield but I’ve a feeling SL clubs will be circling with interest and if he has to move I hope he ends up at Wigan.

Is he the one playing for York tonight? Took his try well but not done anything of note other than that. I'll look closer second half
