| How narrow is the concourse area at Widnes?
Would be a good atmosphere at Widnes though. Wish it was this weekend or in a couple of weeks because waiting 9 weeks for the Semi-final is a bugger!

| If it is at Widnes and it's anything like the play-off game, I'd start queueing for a pint now.

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

| Quote: those were the days "Iv just read all 18 pages on this topic of the semi and what ever venue the RFL choose people will say widnes is too small etc.. I dont think this ground has been mentioned so il throw them into the ring what about PNE deepdale holds around 24000 ideal fopr both sets of supporters and one or two watering holes nearby.'"
Just gonna say that....Deepdale would be a perfect option IMO...spread the game a bit....1 stop on the main line for wigan and 2 for wire...ensure loadsa fans would get the train up...PNE must be eager for the cash as well after just finishing the ground..makes more sence than widnes where not even all the season ticket holders can get tickets!
Why does the topic on here say....semi at widnes as well when it hasnt been confirmed

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.
For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.
Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_3076.jpg |

Because there are people on here who are "in the know"

Yeah but when the RFL and the club know, they will probably tell us straight away.

| Shocking choice, Wigan's second home ground used as a neutral venue.
It's a fix should of been played at KR

Bilko is usually spot on though so no reason to doubt it.

20333_1393344959.gif Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_20333.gif |

| Stupid idea taking it to Widnes, its thr RFL thinking small, whoever had the idea of COM stadium hats off to you they should do that it is a great idea.
15,000 Saints v Huddersfield crowd
17,000 Wigan v Warrington crowd
4,000 Neutrals and eager beavers from Manchester wanting to see what the fuss is about after the great advertising campaign
36,000 fans at COM stadium with free coaches laid on???
Easy peasy! Plus how good would that look on Rugby League a crowd that big rather than 14,000 full house at Widnes?
