Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

| I have to say I think it's absolutely fantastic news as a rugby league fan to see that one of the most exciting prospects in any sport kept in the game. Regardless of the club he plays it, it's an important move for RL in England to secure these players.
As a Saints fan I cried in the corner for 15 minutes before burning a Brigantes flag and violating a meat and potato pie.  |

I have to say I find it extremely uncomfortable that the first thing you think of when Lenegan says anything is me. I preferred it when the first thing you'd think of is the salary cap.

Presumably the same help you'll be looking for when they come knocking on Ryan Hall and Ben Jones-Bishop's doors. A central fund from which to build up the salaries of marquee players. It's not so far-fetched. We did it before, and it helped us keep two palyers who RU was supposedly ready to break the bank to acquire. |
