If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

Sadly it's a thankless job making sure the little clubs are kept in line.
I would have thought RL as whole would would have snapped out of it after the disastrous event of the parasite club (Huddersfield) winning the league leaders shield.
Time for this sports 'fans' to wake up and ask what they want this sport to be- One where little sides win trophies or one where clubs with proud histories and immense potential are given the support and backing to take the game to the Aussies power clubs.

| Agree with the views of Sally C and thought the biggest performer for you guys has been Saun Wayne. He's been written off so many times and his tactics questioned but fair play to him. After loosing all those players last year; everyone had written Wigan off and for me, he's the one person you'd miss the most if he left. Still gutted but a massive congrats on the double.

Sometimes the truth is hard to swallow.
At the end of the day;
There was one team out there last night with 11 academy produced players in their squad.
There was one team out there last night that's an household name.
There was one side out there with a proud history built on success after success
There was one team out there last night that still holds respect in Australia.
The worst thing for British RL is for a side like Dire or Hudds to win the big one. Neither have any interest in the larger club game and neither have any real interest in developing home-made stars.
Leeds and Wigan winning the league is simply best for business.
P.s How did the parade go

so the point i made in my original post in respose to the topic is invalid? and the injuries sustained by two of our key players at key times in the game had nothing to do with affecting the outcome of the game?-like i stated previously-tit and detested-

Tony Clubb: "This is a new exciting chapter of my life signing for Wigan and I couldn't be happier" 18/10/2013
Romain Navarrete: “I’m very happy to have signed for Wigan Warriors. As soon I knew that Wigan were interested, they were the only team that I wanted to sign for. To me, Wigan is the biggest Club in Rugby League and it will be an honour to pull on the famous Cherry-and-White jersey next year. I look forward to working with Shaun Wane and the players at Wigan.”:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10172.jpg |

Detested? By you, obviously.
Many people on RL Fans were in favour of Wire winning, until Westwood made a cheap shot on Blake Green. That single, unnecessary thuggish incident polarised opinion against Wire.
And if you are a two-man team, it's unlikey you will be genuine contenders.

When have i said that it didn't have an outcome on the game?
I know that your from Warrington and that probably means your Mum's your also your auntie but even you should be able to keep up with what's going on right?
I commented that Warrington will NEVER win the league as your will NEVER deserve it. Your pathetic reply was to say something down the line of Wigan of no wonder Wigan fans are detested.
Again the truth is hard to swallow as simply you don't deserve to win the league. It's the age old saying of '[iYou only get out as much as you put in[/i'. Wigan, Leeds and even Saints have had continued success because they produce the likes of Tomkins, Lockers, Charnley, Burrow, Watkins, Graham, Roby, Lomax, Smith etc. Wire produce guys like Cooper, Riley & Bridge.
You only need to look at the history of SL champions to see that CHAMPION teams are built off a core of academy produced players and a mixture of class signings. Doesn't seem to be something Moran has realised and long may that continue.

Another quality response from someone unable to back up any of the comments they've made.
Whilst your watching your shed dry i'm going to watch us break some Dire hearts again!

| Quote: sally cinnamon "I think we peaked in 2011. We still had Matt King then and Michael Monaghan was IMO the most effective player in the league at that point. Since then we've been good but not quite that level.
I do agree that there are questions over Wire in the next few years but looking at the other clubs its also not clear who is jumping ahead to pole position. Wigan you would say should be pole position but Tomkins going is a big loss and despite your great achievement in winning the double there has been a lot of self doubt amongst the Wigan fans reading this forum in recent weeks, I think you're a well prepared and well coached team who works well as a team but these days you don't have the array of world class stars that were there a couple of decades ago that differentiated Wigan from the rest, so Wigan have to work a bit harder to get success.
Leeds, I think are in similar position to Warrington, a good team but most of the key players are getting old now and they will have to replace big guns in the next few years. Saints I don't think are quite there and neither are Hull. If anything I think Huddersfield could see the next couple of years as an opportunity for them to try and win a trophy or steal an edge on the rivals.
But more realistically, looking just at next season I expect the best two teams to be Wigan and Hudds, and then three more teams that are capable of winning a trophy
Leeds will still be there next year.... that backline of Hardacre, Briscoe,Watkins,Moon and Hall is a very potent one and the best in SL.
Hudds look strong, We also look good and Saints will be around 4th 5th again imo.
Wire will still be strong but losing that interchange of Morley, Carvell and poss M Monaghan(maybe) is a blow
