If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

Interesting point...

| Players should force their way in ad far as I'm concerned, the general opinion here seems to be that he's young and has time to improve, improve on what though? I don't see what his strengths are at all, he isn't a great organiser, he doesn't have pace, he doesn't move the ball out of dummy half particularly fast.
I'm not bagging him for the sake of it, or scapegoating and the like. It's just an honest opinion, that I see him as a very average player who doesn't offer anything other than doing the basics without error.

| It doesn't seem like that long ago since some people used to say that McIlorum offered nothing and they couldn't wait for Riddell to get back on the field.
Logan is playing a similar role to one MM did as an apprentice to Piggy, just pass the ball at dummy-half and keep tackling in the middle. For me, he's not as physical as MM was in defence even back then, but it's early days and bar the knock-on, he did nothing wrong that I saw on Saturday.
As for us conceding points when he's on the field, I know statistics aren't the whole story - but his missed tackle rate is about 6.4% compared to 9.8% for MM, so he's hardly a turnstile.

One of the problems people mention is that he very rarely wins collisions though, letting the opposition get on the front foot.

| For me I think Logan needs to develop his game a lot but ideally in a different way to to Micky Mac (who he will never be like), given Logan's stature if he could develop into a running /scooting type hooker with good distribution it would aid the squad and him a lot by providing a different option - sometimes I do feel that Micky Mac is a bit limited - he is not a creative type hooker.

That's a fair point, MM might miss more tackles but when he hits, he usually wins the collision.

| Logan should have been man of the match tonight. He was outstanding from start to finish. Definitely a hooker who should start games, rather than an impact player.

| Credit where due he was good tonight, just wish he would play like that every week. Or at least more than once a season.

| He played a different game tonight. Mind you so did the entire team.
His running form dummy half was reminiscent of Micky Higham (that comment is especially for a couple of regulars on here ).

| thats another game where hes been the main hooker (like at widnes) and come close to mom.
Maybe hes under orders when he spells MM ?
Either way, hes worth holding onto and see if another season brings him on even more

Yeah I'd agree, his three best matches have been when McIlorum hasn't played (Widnes, Warrington, Hull).
