Soliola played centre against Hudds last Friday
Feka has to play. I genuinely don't see any need to change from the 17 that beat Leeds, barring any injuries of course. Just get Deacs on long-kicking duty instead of Tommy. He's had three stinking kicking games in a row. On Saturday it almost seemed as if he was aiming for Ryan Hall's bread basket. If he was he's a lot better than I think!

| Hope he plays so I can see how he gets on, along with Smith and hopefully Gardner plays if he has signed for us, and by the way, what are the chances of Bailey playing?

He is crocked, so very very slim.
TBH if he was fit, there is no way that he would push any of the other lads out the squad.
His Wigan career has just kind of fizzled out. Piggy and Feka have had a bit of a fanfare but not Bails.
Shame really

and of course having 4 forwards on the bench really helped us against Leeds at the DW when Deacon went off injured.....

You can't plan for injuries though, plus by all accounts Amos is still far from 100%. If he was ready to go he'd be in the starting line-up at full-back with Sam back at 6.
Think back to the games we lost earlier in the seasonw when we went in with one prop on the bench (Leeds in the CC is the one that sticks out). Saints know that they're main stength going into this game is up front and if we don't match them there we will seriously struggle. Madge should also know this and pick a heavy bench to take advantage when the likes of KFC and Puletua get spelled

No Soliola played left centre with Meli shifting back out onto the wing and Gardner got dropped from the squad. Flannery played in the second row with Wilkin. Players probably shifted about once Eastmond went off but Soliola stayed at centre for the full 80
Not the most mobile wing/centre combination I've ever seen. If we can shift it out quickly to Sam and get Gleeson and Goulding man-for-man against them in some space we could get some joy, if Saints decide to pick the same team again

[quote="Headingley Rhino"]Great win yesterday at our place, there is no denying you are probably the best team in SL as you have proved it all year so I think it's justice done that you have got to Old Trafford. I thought wigan was excellent in the second half and showed why you guys are top dogs this year.: |

Soliola played right second row. Flannery played left centre alongside Meli. It was initially listed as the other way round, but during the game Soliola definitely played in the second row and Flannery was in the centres.

Thats what I thought. I know it was listed as the other way around but they also commented on it during the match.
Either that or Soliola came infield a lot for some of those big hits.

i thought he played centre to be honest out wide in attack alot
did not put one of there half backs outside him on defense which made it look like he was playin second row

Nah i'm pretty sure Flannery was lining up there most of the time. That's where he's been playing the laast few weeks of the season anyway and it allowed them to spell Soliola more if they played him at 2nd row.
