I fear a bit of thrutching going on at the jjb we have nothing to lose on friday no doubt we are expected to lose by all the pundits but as for your comment about ratchford for me he is a better all round player than richie myler kicking game a lot better than richies and as for your earlier post cashmere is our best player well for me he is not in the top half dozen players for us
see you thrutchers on friday

| the team that played on friday...
1 John wilshere AgeIf you do win on friday night it will be thouroughly deserved as salford are not going to be a walkover like some naive people on here seem to think so!
May the best team come out on top, hopefully from my point of view it will be salford, we need to write some wrongs from the last semi final we played in

That retirement home you go on about still managed to give you the biggest kick up the backside you've ever had causing your beloved superstars to lose their spirtual home at central park

Goulding has been very good for us since he came and will be a big loss next week. He has steadied our defence on the right (which was our biggest weakness) and we have barely conceded a try down that side since he came. He has also been good in attack and scored a few tries. It looks like we will have to play Littler again who will be a big weakness as he is awful

20333_1393344959.gif Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_20333.gif |

| Im not saying you can't beat us, I'm saying you shouldn't.
Its not arrogance, its confidence and the players should have the same mentality.
If you beat us at the weekend then congratulations, I hope the best team wins. Just as long as its wigan.
Anyway, there is only one player in Salford team I would have in our side and that is Myler and hopefully he will see the light and sign or us.
Good luck anyway!

| To think Friday's game will be a walkover for us would be stupid really.
Salford are playing well and will defintely be up for it on Friday so we have to match their enthusiasm and do the basics well otherwise I can see them beating us

Your obviously listening to all the hype regarding Myler. I would say that both Adamson and Ratchford are much better prospects than Myler. Thats not to say that Myler isn't something special, cos he is, but Adamson and Ratchford have the makings of being very special players in their respective positions.
Anyway we'll do you a deal we win the first game and we'll let you win the second

| Just to get us all in the mood - we've lost our last two Challenge Cup games against Salford.

| Perhaps losing our last two matches is the ideal preparation for this one. Most normal teams would go into a game like this full of confidence if they were on a winning run. But Wigan would arrive cocky, over-confident and basically doomed. Now perhaps, they'll be in a more sobre frame of mind.
But when you think about it, only Wigan could have contrived a situation where a relatively straightforward, dare I say it - even easy - home draw in the cup, could suddenly have assumed the dimensions of season maker-or-breaker.
