I got told at Murrayfield that we had signed Finch. I presumed that it would be for next season, but who knows.
Catalan did offer Briers a contract but he has obviously turned them down.

Now that Thurston is staying, Cronk drops down the rep pecking order and ultimately the Storm have got to shed players to work under the salary cap from next season. I imagine whilst he ain't a massive earner, he will be on more than Finch and any other half-backs on their books. I would think that he would command a fair chunk of our cap but with some big earners (Feka and Fielden) coming off contract and the allure of working with Mags in a title challenging team, we might just be in with a shout!
Wouldn't mind a cheeky bid for Widdop as well if we look like shifting Phelps on!

Doesn't work that way, unfortunately. His full salary counts on the cap, even if he only plays one game. |
