No place for that in the game I'm all for hard hits and playing to the edge but that's a shocker and could put someone in a wheelchair or worse. Should have been a red deserves a ban.

Haven't watched it back yet, but at the game it looked a bad tackle and so unlike him. I thought it was a red and he'll deserve whatever he gets.

Really impressed with Peet's honesty after the game regarding the tackle. Even as a Leeds fan I've taken a real liking to the guy. Comes across really well when he's interviewed.
He's a class act imo.

Poor challenge, Powell is disappointed in himself for it happening and he expects him to be out for a good few games. Also mentioned that he hoped the Saints player was ok on what would've been a big day for him.

Utter lunacy from Powell. The game was already gone because of another big game abject performance. Won't be disappointed to see Powell cop a big ban. Comfortably the worst no.9 in the league and offers absolutely nothing.

Disgusting tackle, could have broke the poor lads neck. I'm hoping for O'Neil getting a start and having a good run, if that's the case then Powell struggles to get back in the team. We have 3 x players who tackle like demons but offer nothing going forwards, no room for them all so having Powell out and O'Neil in will make us more potent around the ruck.

Horrible tackle - Red all day long.

The people defending it as “biff” are probably the same people who defended Terry newton’s antics in that infamous game.
