Saints are pushing the boundaries at the minute regards sporting integrity. Add the play acting and wind up merchant tactics of soft cocks like Bentley and LMS to the decision to ban players playing in the All Star fixture and choosing to have two weeks off after the cup final and it’s been a sorry season for the reputation of your club IMO. You may think I’m on the wind up but I genuinely admire Saints as a club and like Wigan, it’s a proper rugby club with a huge history but Woolf seems the type who will do literally anything to win.

I’ve lost plenty of respect for Saints this season and if you don’t like that, it doesn’t really concern me. I don’t expect you to give Saints a hiding yourself but any Saints fan who backs the All Stars farce, the two weeks ‘Covid’ break after the cup or the antics of Bentley recently are hiding behind Saints tinted specs.

About 8 weeks ago when I was highlighting the players going down with head injury tactics I praised Saints as they were the only team in and around that time that didn't do it (prob because they were winning that easy

I agree with most of what you've said, they've played the covid card, they've got housery in their portfolio but seem to get awaybwith it, the all stars im a bit 50/50 on but they certainly didn't pull out all the stops.
Added to that Coote has thrown himself around to the floor playing the dying Swan act for months now and its all part of the same problem.
The coaches and players and administrators pf clubs themselves need to decide how we are going to go forward because the last 18months has seen what I would describe as somewhere between play acting, gamesmanship and down right cheating increase drastically and its making the game sometimes unbearably frustrating.

As for Redvee, stumbled across about a week ago, awful awful place.
Spewing awful and at times vitriolic bile, and golden rule of redvee you must never ever ever ever say something half decent about Wigan, but then come over onto RLFANS rivals boards and expect to be taken seriously.

I think YG is a little surprised by my honesty on Saints in fairness to him. I’m not really one to get in to arguments with people or go on the wind up but I am genuinely a little disappointed with Saints this season. That comes from a place of me actually thinking a lot of them and also probably because had Wigan come up with a few similar misdemeanours this season, we’d have seen 20 page threads on the VT.

Saints pushing the boundaries of fair play are possibly a sign of how they just don’t leave any stone unturned in the effort to win games/trophies but it’s off IMO and it’s very very un Saint Helens like. It is that Aussie influence I’m sure but they’ve gone from this reputation as the entertainers, who beat people with outstanding attacking rugby, to now playing high energy grind rugby and trying anything to win penalty counts. It’s working for them but it won’t win them friends like the teams of the past did.

You don't know any details of the All Stars game or the post-Wembley covid stuff. You're just rambling aimlessly and sounding like a child. Honestly mate what's happened to you? I know you've had a bad season so far but your head has gone lately.

If you think we have purposely faked Covid to get a break then presumably the same applies to every team who has had to call games off then? Or just Saints? What about when Wigan have cancelled due to Covid, was that genuine or just having a break?
Why in a season when we need wins to catch Catalans would be fake Covid and give up a home game to Huddersfield?

Now if you really want to talk about reputations of clubs that's fine, but ask the wider RL audience who has the better of the two recently and it won't be Wigan. The past few years have seen your club embroiled in countless off-field stuff including the police, drugs, drink, violence. Hardaker, Bateman, Hamlin, Tautai, Mullen, Escare, the list goes on.

But yeah, because we were forced to miss a couple of games and because we have a grubby player in Bentley it's OUR reputation and integrity that should be questioned.

We could feed the poor, come up with a cure for multiple diseases and solve world peace and some people still wouldn't say a nice word about us, and most of them would be our fans.

Regarding the covid thing, I find it strange that both clubs were in isolation to ensure Wembley went ahead with kids home schooling, partners at home etc etc and then both clubs got 2 weeks off after wembley for multiple positive tests.

How the f*** did they catch it???
