Solid enough that Hastings should be back at HB. Smith wasn't great today and Hanley deserves to stay there.

I really wish they listed time on the pitch as one the stats. I got the sense that Havard played pretty big minutes, did anyone else think that?

Agreed, Hastings has to go back in the halves, Hanley stops there until Hardaker is back IMO

And is it just me, but I don't like to see us, leading by 2 with ten minutes or so to go against a poor side, drilling the ball into touch on the last tackle. Good teams would be going for the throat.

But that was a really poor side game managing. Very sensible tactics.

Feared the worst with no Hastings, then no Powell really worried me.

Both young hookers didn’t look out of place, Halsall I thought was really solid.

Hanley is improving but still looks nervous at times.

I wouldn’t say we are a good team at the moment, two poor teams in a poor league.

Tonight was about trying to grind out a win which we managed.

Happy to see us wind down the clock and have a breather.

At the moment it seems they'd sooner back their defence over their attack, not surprising really seeing how clunky we are
