I still think that it should be 1 point to both teams, plus the extra point for the golden point.

Playing to a draw and then losing the point, possibly without ever touching the ball in Extra Time, would be gutting - Especially for the teams at either the top or the bottom of the league table

According to Bilko on twitter this is exactly what happened to HKR in the 2016 million pound game. Lost the game without ever having possession in the extra time so a coin toss decided the result. Idiotic.

A coin toss decided the result.... If you ignore the preceding 80 minutes...... and the fact they allowed Salford to march their way up past half way in one set...... then just stood back and watched GOB kick a long range drop goal instead of putting him under any pressure at all.

I'm not necessarily in favour of golden point in league games, but let's not pretend it's ever just down to a coin toss. If you can't kick off and defend one set without conceding points, you deserve to lose.

After 80 minutes of such a high pressure game both teams are out on their feet. The team receiving the ball will obviously have an advantage in that situation. The way to restart should be an arm wrestle between a designated player from each side. Winner chooses to kick off or receive the ball.

or if we are going to consider sensible alternatives to a coin toss, how about ...

tries scored
discipline (yellow/red cards)
away team advantage

or really radical how about finish at fulltime an give each team one championship point and move on.... and stop with stupid ideas that are not needed.
