| Great win over there, we are certainly grinding them out.
Our +16 points difference considering we're unbeaten says it all! Once we click on attack we will beat most teams.

| You can't knock the fight in this team can you! Fantastic result that. We can talk about letting another lead slip but with a young side blips like that are to be expected but to keep coming back is fantastic.
I've said from the start of the year we just need to keep picking them off and wait for the injured players to get back. To be missing Joel Tomkins, Sam Tomkins, Micky Mac and Lockers tonight and still get the victory in those circumstances is very pleasing.

| That will do the team the power of good. The talk this week was all about Hull, how big their pack is, the good form they are in...etc.
To lose Lockers just before kick off was a massive blow but what a win!! I had to make do with twitter updates so if anyone could let us know how the team performed overall that would be great!

| That's the issue you get with not having video refs at all games I suppose. You'd still expect a tough judge to spot that though.

Hull FC head coach Lee Radford:

"I thought we did enough to get the result but it was not to be. We dominated territory and field position.
"What was disappointing was having so much possession down their end and not getting as much as we could.
"The game was played down their end of the field. I can't knock their efforts but we've got to get better in a couple of areas."'"
Wigan head coach Shaun Wane:
Quote I thought we did enough to get the result but it was not to be. We dominated territory and field position.
"We showed some character and I am very proud of all my players, it was an outstanding effort.
"We had virtually no ball in the second half and our completion rate was at 70%.
"The two drop goals were really good ones, but I'm happy because I believe Hull will beat many teams. Teams will come here and get pummelled.
"We are four from four and not played - we will improve for Leeds next week, another challenge and the players are buzzing."'"

| I wasn't confident of a win but I thought even our lack lustre attack would score points against them. In their two home games before today they conceded a total of 51 points.
And now another 26 and so that is just over 25 points a match average at home conceded. That is not a good home record.
What I didn't expect was us to leak almost as many points as them. Our defence has been very good and arguably it has what has won us the three previous games. I suppose Lockers being out didn't help on that score.
It will be interesting to see what Wane does at full back now. Sarge to FB and Gildart in the side was something several people including myself suggested before the season started when we knew Sam was out.
It would be no slight on Tierney for him to have a rest. No sense in over playing a young player but Wane can be a bit of a slow learner. He gets presented with a better selection but whether out of stubbornness or loyalty doesn't seem to act until he'd look daft not to.
Finally, well done Matty Smith. Cool head with the DG's.

I thought I draw would have been fair result, once again we at least matched you in the pack, but you extra class and pace in the backs was the different, Gelling was excellent and got you out of trouble a few times. Thought you played smarter than us also. You goal line defence was excellent except a 15 min spell. Thought Thaler was ok, he seemed to give everything to one side for 10mins then change.
I don't think we are far off, just need to play smarter and improve our goal line defence, you will be a top 2 side, hopefully we won't be far off you.

| Just had a quick look at the stats. Great efforts from:
Mossop - most metres out of all of our players and averaged over 8m per carry
Powell - 45 tackles, joint highest with Houghton
Bateman - 40 tackles and 17 carries, only one error

Waney confirms that it was a planned tactical switch, hence having Gildart on the bench:
[urlhttp://www.wiganwarriors.com/news/2016-03-04-click-into-gear[/url
Quote DaveOSpeaking after the game, the Warriors Head Coach said:
“People might have questioned why I had Gily (Oliver Gildart) on the bench against a team with a lot of big middles but I needed cover. I also wanted to see how Sarg (Dan Sarginson) went at full-back and we switched him late on. Gily came in and created something straight away and Sarg did too.
“Lewis had a knock last week but was ok today, I just wanted to see how Sarg went. I’m happy with how Lewis has gone this past few weeks, I just needed something to get us into gear and it (the substitution) did that today.”

| How on earth have you guys not lost a game!!!
Got to hand it to you, you've scrapped a hell of a lot better than we have.
Its these kinds of results that seem predict you guys finishing top, looks like you or wire atm, unless our second half to the regular season this year is like our first last year.
You guys will be massive favourites on sunday with what looks like 2 more injuries for us, taking us up to 9 in total I think, If we win it will possibly be our best weekly round result in a few years
You guys feeling confident?

Feeling extremely confident about Sunday although not quite as confident about Friday. Nice to get your nine injuries in, pity our 6 injuries doesn't quite match it but there you go.
