George Williams certainly being missed in attack, where we don't seem to have too many ideas.

He takes on the line and asked questions. I've seen Powell do it only once and Smith not at all.

I stand by what I said about Tierney. He did defend ok tonight but he doesn't attack the line he just passes early. I think we'd be much better off with Gildart in the team.

One thing Tierney does need to learn is that he doesn't need to go the full David Beckham backlift when kicking a ball dead! Toe poke it, boot it with your wrong foot, jump on the thing but for christs sake get a move on and get rid. It's cost us one try last week and was millimetres off doing us again this week.

Other then that I think he's done ok. He's limited in terms of making play for others which isn't ideal when we play a style which revolves around a fullback making space for others but he's not let us down.

Last minute disruption with GW missing out but our real problem was attacking their best defensive side of the field rather than their weakest. We should have gone right and attacked Wood and Foster, new guys to their team. Instead we went at McGilvary and Cudjoe who are regulars in their team.

I thought he was excellent last night, and with the error count down he's adding a bit of bite into the collision that isnt being nullified by silly mistakes.

however, a piece of praise will prob get stamped on as we are obv , the standard is , sl is and why oh why there arent more suicides over the quality of wigan is SL is beyond me.

According to the SL website stats TT hasn't missed any tackles, made any handling errors or conceded any penalties in the two SL matches so far this season.

He's certainly turned his pre season showings around so far. I thought he was excellent on Friday.

If he rids those errors from his game it's plain to see he can be a handful.
