You have to hand it to Sinfield, that was some play. He gets MOM for one kick but fair enough.
What an opportunity for us to knock them off their perch. I think it's a fixture the game deserved and I can't help but feel relieved that any hype around Flowers return to Old Trafford will be dampened a little.

It was only a couple of weeks ago everyone had wrote Leeds off.
There was no way in hell Sinfield or Peacock were going out with a loss at Headingley. |

What a great match that was. You have to wonder, is it better to be wearied but battle-hardened, as Leeds are tonight, or rested without being tested as we were last night? Guess we'll find out next week!

Whilst it's not the final I wanted, it *is* the one that is right for the game.
The 2 best teams in the league, separated only by goal difference, top attack (Leeds scored 944) against the best defence (Despite what Sky claim, WE had the best defence by only conceding 530 - Hudds let in 534).
Its' going to be a lot tougher than Saints would have been, but right now, I don't fear anyone.
Let's send "sir" Kevin home in tears.

All the hype will be for Leeds, all the press interviews and everyone will expect them to finish the job for the old boys retiring. I think that takes some heat off us and allows us to focus on the job.
Let's send Sinfield, Pescock and the proper Leuluai's relation in to retirement on a loss like we did with KFC. |
