Ah good business sense. Say we hit another recession, attendances plummet, sponsorship money goes down the pan with companies not spending on sponsorship deals for less popular sports. It last a good few years. Is it not good for a club to have rainy day money, for many reasons, or shall we just let players move on free because you spat your dummy over a player wanting to do what most normal people would do, double their income, become the best they can be whilst living in a much nicer place?
You really do need to let it go now. It's bordering on an obsession.
