If you are coming into Wembley Park Tube station walk away from the station app 30yds to a pub called the Crock of Gold (used to be the Torch).

Back down past the station towards the stadium (app 60yds the road splits ) you will find two pubs on your right, the First Class Sports Bar and almost next door is the Wembley Tavern.

Just a bit further down that road on the left (almost hidden by the filling station) is the Parish a little Irish Pub.

Go back to the main road then down Empire way and at the bottom the Blue Room is facing you across the junction.

I will be coming in from the North (from Northwood) so I will find pubs to the left of me and pubs to the right of me as I come out of the station.

The problem is I may have to give some of them a miss or I will be giving the final a miss.

Skip the Wetherspoons fella. Get into some decent places whilst in the big smoke. Spoons'll wait til you get home surely?

Well yeah, it doesn't have to be Wetherspoons. Any boozers in Harrow will do.



In 2011 we ended up around Covent Garden but getting there from our hotel in Hendon and then changing tubes etc was a bit of a ball ache.

Keeping it simple this time. Pubs in Harrow then down to Wembley Park area for the pubs mentioned a few posts back although they may well be rammed!

As someone mentioned, the Globe across rd from Baker Street underground station is a smashing pub... all manner of sport on the box and the do a good fresh cold guinness in there..

And tinnies from Tesco express for the 1 hour 15mins walk (

) up wembley way from Wembley Park station from 1.30 is a colossal idea

Usually when you get to Wembley park you are hearded onto Wembley way. How do you get to the pubs rather than being shunted along with the throngs?

Go to the top of wembley way turn right and head towards the torch pub at top of road. Went there when we played Leeds, it's was just a mass of cherry n white. Great place for us to meet and it's a cracking atmosphere.

Torch pub it is then.

A lot of Hull FC fans coaches are dropping off there - could be busy!

I'll have a pint of Guinness whoever gets to the bar first!

If the torch is packed (re named" the crock of gold") come back to the top of empire way app 80yds, the road binds to the right (Empire Drive).

Two pubs on the right about 60yds, the sports Tavern and the Wembley Tavern, Just across the road on the left is a little Irish Pub, "The Parish" Don't tell everybody about this though



If you see a distinguished looking Gentleman in the Parish wearing a funny hat and a pacamac with a pint of mild in front of him its me.

Pre match - Kilburn then onto Wembley way for a few tinnies or just stay in the pub if it's lashing down.
Post Match - Probably The Globe at Baker Street. Good atmosphere in there after 2011 final.
