I'm surprised at Lockers, I'd have thought he would be getting back into the swing of things. I wonder if Flower, Taylor and Lauaki will return....

doesnt surprise me with the semi final next week.
I think Wane wants to get to Wembley, and he learned last year that the hub caps meaningless in the context of things.

| Wigan v Saints is never "meaningless" however the weekend is currently higher on our list of priorities as opposed to playing a mid-table side
If we have key players with knocks then as much as I love hammering our friends from over the hill I wouldn't take the risk.

| Lauaki warmed up in the 19 man squad prior to the Widnes game.
If a Wigan forward had pulled up in the warm up then you'd expect Lauaki would have played.
Saints really should win this one then, if they don't they must be in a right old mess!

If you've watched us on sky this year at all then you know the answer already. We look nothing like the Saints teams of the recent past or even as good as the Saints teams in the early 90's . We are leaderless, gutless and clueless for the most part.
Was at a fans forum last night for the Steve Prescott foundation and Matty Smith was there (how I wish he was at Saints at the moment), he was asked quite a few questions and gave some very honest answers, a couple of things stood out around coaching and how Wane is a coach who is big on motivation and always gets players up for games no matter who it is , I wonder if Nathan Brown plays pan pipes music or something during his team talks because we never look fired up.

| Brown always gave me the impression while at Huddersfield of being very laid-back at times, almost as if he knew that if it all got too much he could always up sticks and go home! That could be a little unfair on my part, but it just seemed that way with his interviews, and body language.

If England need a player who can get away with 10 high shots in a match then look no further than Mr Wilkin

The thing is he doesnt get away with them , him and LMS just lose the plot and give penalties away like there going out of fashion.

Makes you wonder but he wont get an NRL job if he continues to fail at Saints. The man is a mystery, and whats even more odd is the players sing his praises. When the rot started for us under Mick Plodder rumours were everywhere of player unrest and dressing room issues, after he left they came out - Simmons was liked but again there were rumours the players wernt keen on tactics (or lack of) .. with Brown apart from the Gaskell oddity there is nothing.
