Which probably says more about Brown than Eden.
Personally I don't rate either as top draw.

| He was there on holiday visiting his daughter who lives in Oz mainly.
The word was he was keeping an eye out for potential signings as well and he also spent a few days with the Gold Coast and NZ warriors teams I believe.
I can't see anymore incomings unless Hock goes.

| Which would leave us with
Tomkins
Charnley
Goulding
Thornley/Gelling/Hughes
Richards
Green
Smith
Mossop
McIlorum
Prescott
Hansen
Hock
O'Loughlin
Lauaki
Farrell
Taylor
Flower
Dudson
Tuson
Tomkins
Lloyd
Powell/Murphy on loan
Worries me this squad. Not much experience and no depth, couple of injuries and we are frigged.

| Tonga will be on a decent wedge at Leeds and he's no spring chicken. His forms not been great from what I read for a while but a move could spark him up.
It's a tough one. He'd be a bit of a gamble but then every signing is. I'm not sure if Lenagan wants to give the younger player an opportunity this year or if we're trying to keep costs down a little by running with a smaller squad.
Either way I'm looking forward to seeing guys like Thornley, Hughes and Powell playing more minutes. We'll need some luck with injuries to get close to a trophy IMO but if we get that our first choice 17 is good enough.

| More than happy to see us give the likes of Gelling and Thornley the opportunity to claim the spot personally. No point signing these guys to play in the reserves.

| Tonga could be a fantastic signing for Leeds. Hes been consistently good for years and been on the fringes of rep squads. He is less of a gamble than Carmont was and look how he turned out. He'd be a great influence for the young lads too. I don't have worries about Gelling/Thornley in matches against lower opposition but think they may come unstuck against an Atkins or Watkins etc.

| Quote Elsewhere, Wigan Warriors are set to make one more high- profile signing ahead of the new season. Bradford’s Keith Lulia was monitored last term.

| Joel Moon to Leeds gives them a terrifying 1-5:
1. Hardaker
2. BJB
3. Watkins
4. Moon
5. Hall
I mean... how is that fair Leeds?

We've already knocked back a 250k offer from leeds for lulia. Cant see lenaghan offering that much TBH.

That's a pretty strong back line with some real quality and pace.
Would happily see all that 4 of those players at Wigan, jury is out on BJB.

| I was told weeks ago we was interested in Hardaker but brushed it off thinking Leeds wouldn't let him go but the Moon signing might put weight on it
For the record i dont think we will see him in a Wigan shirt next year

| We should have pushed the boat out further for Hardaker when we had the chance. We won't be signing him anytime soon I'm afraid.
Leeds 1-5 is very good and the halfbacks are as good as any. They have a pack that can stand up to any when they're interested but it's ageing and will need some smart recruitment/promotion work pretty soon.

We were in for him when he was at Fev as were most top clubs but he chose Leeds.
He will be Leeds fullback next season.

take it you didn't notice the 1.2 million sponsorship deal a couple of weeks ago. We aren't as hard up as people think now historical debts are gone. Us knocking Leeds back over lulia is a matter of public record.

| No one doesn't believe you, Lulia or both knocked back Leeds.
What we are all incredulous about is the rumoured £250k transfer fee offer from Leeds.

| If Bradford knocked back 250k for Lulia then I have no faith these new owners will take them further then the last lot!!
Take the cash, use his wages to pay another signing who they could probably get for free (Tonga? Gleeson?) or less then 250k anyway (Moon?) and have a tidy sum to take forward for other players/projects.
It's not as though he's a Bateman type who people would be devastated to lose. I can't see the figure being right anyway tbh.
