Could the ticket office be any slower?

I gave the lad my season ticket and said I also wanted the seat next to it (seat 141) which was my Dad's season ticket registered at the same address and with a similar client code. He then tried to sell me seat 139 because 141 was a season ticket seat??? I KNOW THAT......IT'S MY FU*KING DADS!!!!!!!!!!!!!





It took me almost 10 minutes to buy 4 tickets.

Not bought my tickets for this one yet but according to the e-ticketing site there isn't many left available.

North Stand - Closed (As we know).
South Stand - 48
East Stand LHS - 912
East Stand RHS - 186 (Three full blocks allocated to Saints fans).
West Stand LHS - 138
West Stand RHS - 40 (Three full blocks allocated to Saints fans).


Better get them bought sharpish.

will that not be taking into account season ticket seats that are reserved until tuesday? Or have I got that wrong?

Got mine in the south this morning. Be great if we can get anywhere near 20k for this game. It would be a great achievement considering the short amount of time and the attendance for the play off game.

Don't forget that all season tickets seats won't show as available until they go on general sale on Wednesday.

Just read the official site, it will be the season ticket holders with allocated seating.



Even with three full sides the capacity is over 19,000 which is over the Langtree Park capacity anyway so I don't see an issue there.

Obviously there are will be some upset saints fans (having to pay an extra couple of quid to sit in East/West), but the pricing is set by the RFL not Wigan.

I didn't expect to be getting a huge attendance for this one regardless of all the uncertainty about the venue so I don't think the north stand being shut will cause a massive issue. and like you say, 19,000 is still more than Langtree Park, Leigh, Widnes and Warrington. Maybe the Brigante's can be let loose on the north stand before hand with flags etc? and then we have 3 pretty full stands on tv with a booming atmosphere, Now wouldn't that be a great outcome?

I don't think saint's fans have any real grounds to moan about it, they are still being given a generous allocation. Ideally they want to have a full lot together but that's not really feasible as a lot of season ticket holders would end up being unable to reserve their usual seats.

I don't think it is. Saints charged £12 and £14 for the game against Oldham in spite of it being at Langtree Park. I think RFL pricing kicks in at semi final time doesn't it when it's neutral venues and all that?

I am trying to buy tickets online for myself and friends who are all ST holders, as I have before, they are all registered in my friends and family list, but....it will only let me buy my own ticket I cant find the bit where I buy for the others can anyone help? what am I doing wrong?

Just been very impressed with the service from the ticket office.
Sent them an email to say web site wasn,t working. Got a phone call from them and everything sorted over the phone, well done wigan and thank you Helen, excellent customer service!
