Me a Leyther will be there tonight so I will give you lot a word of warning. Wrap up warm. It's the coldest ground that I have ever been to and there is no escape from it under the stand. The ends and the back is open to the conco underneath and the wind whips through. Also if you have a flask take it it takes ages to get served.

Oh,and by the way for anyone interested, the new 'cherry and white' kit is being used by the first team tonight.

That seems the likely scenario although I can't really understand it myself. I think there's still a question mark about Mellor and Powell and whether they would offer more than Tuson would off the bench. Mellor is the one who hasn't really been tried in the halves with the rest of the first team squad.
Tuson on the other hand, is just Tuson. Everyone knows what he has to offer, which is pretty much the same as what Farrell offers but less attacking threat.
I'm not a fan of the 4 forwards on the bench. I just don't think Tuson offers enough, especially when Lauaki, Flower and Mossop could easily fill in at second row too.

It will be clear after tonight what side Wane prefers.

I was planning to go today, last minute. But the cost and necessity of pre-booking & non-cash cash options has put me off.

How can Salford expect to increase spectator numbers when the costs for 1 person and a car for a pre-season is £23.75?
(Ticket £15, £1.50 booking fee, £1.75 e-ticketing that I have to print out, £5 for car park plus £0.50 booking fee)
