But Ian Lenagan is owner and an Executive Director which means he can't be involved in another football club according to FA rules. |

I think that might be fishing with them dots on the end but i will respond anyway 
Latics in the championship will still be worth a damn sight more than Leeds or Coventry as they are both in a poor financial state. Im not too sure what Sheff uniteds finances are like though.
At the moment though they are still in the premiership which means they are worth a few quid. |

It's worth Lenegan buying Latics just to get ownership of the stadium.
I don't care what anyone says, any soccer club that turns over naff all in gate receipts, struggles to attract sponsorship, relies on Sky money and is staring relegation in the face is worth................f@@k all.
Lenegan is astute, Whelan is bored of his plaything and wants rid. He knows it's over. Watch this space.

Any club in the premier league could have zero gate receipts and they would still be worth millions. You might not like Latics but if you think they are worth fook all then your clearly mistaken.
They rely on sky money but nearly every sport that is on sky is exactly the same. |

Thats the major sticking point, their value will drop dramatically should they get relegated. Thats when IL might get a good deal if Whelan gets desperate to get shut of them because nobody will want to buy them at all then.
Latics haters/bashers also need to bear in mind that if Latics do get relegated and IL buys them that theres a good chance he will get them back up if he does a good a job as he has done with us. |

No chance. He will favour whatever suits both parties best. If that means our fixtures moving like usual then it will happen.
Anybody who thinks that if IL buys Latics we will just walk all over them will be in for a massive shock if he does actually buy them. |
