Post next week and tell us how it went. I'm sure it'll be o.k. the majority of Wire fans are decent supporters.
You'll get a bit of "Who the fookin hell are Wigan" etc. but go and have a beer and a chat with them in the Kings bar after the game and you'll be o.k.

| Quote jackdog="jackdog"How could you wander around? It was £15 in our stand and I think £20 in the others...did they let you sit anywhere?
And, 'Big Steve', catching the players for a drink is no good when you're a Northerner and they only have Southern bitter to catch them with/from/to.
Anyroad, the bitter in all the pubs we went in was ok.
And the ladies still say the ladies was horrible. Presumably none of you lot were with ladies who went to the ladies.
Also, I have never heard of Brian Telford, top chap though I am sure he is.
Also, 'Robinson', if you think that ale was decent, you are clearly not one of the excellent Stockport brewing Robinsons.
Also, if you sup in the concrete corridors of the DW, you don't deserve proper ale.'"
I'm sure it's £15 everywhere, and they seem to have given up on stewards, no that this information is any good to you now.
By the way, totally ignorant question, why do you hate Warrington so much (compared to Saints)?

I got some pretty bad abuse when I got a ticket for the Saints v Warrington game last year at KR. I also got the worst abuse at Wigan train station when I had just got back from Coventry on the train. It went through Warrington, didn't think that one through! I was surrounded by chavs at the train station, I would like to think they are not the usual Warrington away day crew and were hopping on the bandwagon for the Wigan game.

| Quote jackdog="jackdog"First visit to the Stoop for us, and decent performance and millions of Wigan fans made it a great atmosphere and enjoyable all-round experience...
But...and I don't usually moan (honest)...our gang had plenty of complaints about Quins RL 'experience'.
1. Ladies toilets were 'disgusting', back to the Central Park days and worse, they said.
2. Ale (bitter) was horrible, flat and nasty tasting.
3. 'One of the longest bars in Europe'...they are kidding, right? Maybe they meant longest wait to get served.
4. Post-match 'party' with no seats in said longest bar? A long stand then.
5. "One of the best days out in rugby league, and perhaps in all of sport..." "Slightly" over the top, we would say.
OK, some of those ridiculous claims come from a 2006 Wigan fans guide to Quins RL. So maybe it was ok in 2006. And they have since made things worse?'"
Mrs Rochdale Warrior agrees about the ladies toilets but apart from that we had a good day ,took the 8yr grandson as he lives in London and he enjoyed the day, had a go on the games in the kids zone, ( grandson not me )

I shall let you know how it goes. I've been quite a few games involving Wire over the last couple of years and had no problems, just friendly banter, including a packed pub of Wire fans chanting 'Anti-Wigan' songs at me though that said I've never had the bottle to wear my Wigan shirt yet!

| Unfortunately I couldn't go to Quins this time round, but I always enjoy visiting there. The weather always seems to be great, and for some reason, Wiganers turn up in massive numbers every time.
