The daft bint behind me is constantly saying Yorkshire scum, constantly saying the opposition team are cheating and have paid the ref, then as soon as we have a quiet spell or concede a try, she whinges that we are rubbish and that she wants us to lose because we deserve it. Dedinitely crimgeworthy considering it's right next to the dug outs and wirhin clear earshot of the opposition.

It's clearly not. He's always much more dangerous when he's playing closer to the line. At the moment it is working for the team because it gives us an added (if predictable - well, if anything Tomkins does with the ball in his hands could be considered predictable) dimension in attack.

In the long run he'll move back into the halves, which is where he's suited.

i can specifically remember being in the East stand with about 5 mins to go against Warrington in 2006 when we lost at home, and we were really dire... these two imbaseals in Wigan shirts from many years previous a few rows behind Me n Emma got up to go and one of them screamed 'YOUR $HITE FARRELLY' and numerous other slants towards someone called Farrelly.. i wasnt mega experienced in following Wigan at the time but i was like eh? (a) we didnt have such a player and (b) Some guy called Andy Farrell

Challenge cup final at murrayfield against S****s ther was a fella afew rows behind us kept shoutin"Bostin" all the way through the game , it became a (jokey)saying in our house for a few years after that but still couldn't understand why he kept shouting it

I worked with some guys from Wolverhampton / Tipton, and they used to say 'Bostin' a lot. It meant something was really good, so you might say, for example

"This pie's bostin !" or "My new clogs are bostin !"

I'm originally from Wigan but now live in Lichfield, Staffs.You are correct, Bostin = brilliant in black country spoike.
I think you will find that anybody from the black country would actually say
"this poy's bostin" or "moy new clogs are bostin" along with things loike "This sausage rowal is bostin"
