As for the best player in the league? Well I wouldn't swap him for anyone put it that way but theres 2 or 3 other players that would push him close.

p.s sam is being booed through pure jealousy, no-one in the league has produced a player anywhere near his quality in years.....

To say he's not the best player at Wigan is crazy though mate and why would we be wearing Wigan goggles saying he is? We're obviously going to be honest and unbiased about all of our own players although granted it's more difficult when looking at the leagues best players as a whole.

As it stands if I had to name superleagues 5 best players in no particular order i'd go-

Roby
Graham
Richards
S Tomkins
M Monaghan

theres other guys just below that bunch who are quality aswell like Briers, Chase, Brough, Morley etc but they'd be my picks at the minute.

I'm not comparing him to a Wire player, Briers is a completely different player to Sam and [ucurrently [/ua better stand off.

It's not jealously, it's his s--thouse tactics, no one boo's Pat Richards, in fact i'd go as far as to say almost every fan respects him, a lot.

It's his 'winning' of penalties and whinging and his brother doesn't help running in every time Sam gets a bit of rough treatment.

It's the same way Briers is booed for 'reffing' the game and winding up the opo fans.
