But don't forget how we felt when the opening match was played before the league season even began. In 1996, 1997 and 1999 we were out of the Challenge Cup in early February before playing the first Super League game, including losses to Saints and Leeds. We weren't too keen on an early Final then.
Aside from the August final, couldn't they very easily just make it that a game is played every 4 weeks? Space them at regular intervals so you know when a tie is upcoming, as well as giving regular breaks to those sides who don't get through.
Do you not think it's because we haven't won it in a while??? The BBC coverage is poor. We've never had many home ties either. Not sure if it's cos there is not many all super league ties also. If we joined another round later. There would be more bigger games. There is too much gap between the 2 leagues. Yes I agree too much of a gap between tha round and the next
QuoteLost Cowboy="Lost Cowboy"Maybe the BIG clubs (Wigan semi 2009 & Leeds final 2010) should stop getting a dicking in front of a national tv audience by Wire then. Nothing to be ashamed of though, done it to most teams this year apart from Hulls, Hudds, Catalans and HKR.
