Just to add, Im always proud when I go to Wigan away games as we always travel in great numbers and create a good atmosphere. Problem being with our home games is the away support is mostly shocking meaning little atmosphere is created. Keep it up with the flags though lads there looking class!!

on the atmosphere - it will never prosper home and away until you get rid of the drums!!!! It is absolutely woeful they even drum through the new chants. You cant start a song off without the duracell bunnies going full whack and ruining every song.

I gave up singing at salford because of it and was getting more and more angry with them

Annoyed that i'm going to be missing the game, got a match of my own on Sunday afternoon and can't get to Wigan until the final whistle.

Rugby League has never been a sport to sing along to, there's too much going on on the pitch to be bothered with it. The occasional song aimed at an opposition player (bring on Wire

) is fine, as is shouting your team's name and the like.

Don't know about anyone else, but when I'm watching a football match with all the fans singing I can hardly tell a word anyway. Leave it to the wendyballers and yawnionites, their games are so slow and boring they need to find something to entertain themselves with.

Having said that, the atmoshpere does need sparking at home games. Perhaps we should simply shoot the drummer?

I have never quite understood the need for fans of sport to regurgitate terible songs by changing the odd word to suit.
