Pressure for places in the pack

With 4 backrowers on the bench and as you say no replacement 6,7 or 9, i think at some point during the game this will be inevitable. Madge needs to decide which second rowers hes going with in Cardiff so will want to have a decent look at them all pre season. Hopefully when Sam and Finch return we wont have to see Lockers at 6 too often this season.

We may get a chance to see Tuson in the hooking role. He played centre in his younger days so should have the hands. It's a position I think could suit him, especially as we are so well off for back row forwards.

Given the way they have order the squad on the website it looks like the starting 13 will be:

Amos Roberts, Darrell Goulding, Stefan Marsh, George Carmont, Josh Charnley, Paul Deacon, Thomas Leuluai, Andy Coley, Michael McIlorum, Paul Prescott, Ryan Hoffman, Joel Tomkins, Sean O'Loughlin

With subs:
Stuart Fielden, Jeff Lima, Harrison Hansen, Liam Farrell, Lee Mossop, Chris Tuson, Karl Pryce.

Not many will play the whole game as it is usually rolling subs in friendly.

Maguire has said that none of the players will play the full eighty minutes.

if the game is played in four twenty minute quarters as we did for the Wakefield friendly last year, I wonder if we'll see our "second choice" pack of Fielden, Tuson, Lima, Hansen, Mossop and Farrell on for the second quarter.

Karl Pryce has figured at six before hasn't he?

The only 6 pryce is boy good at is 6th choice winger.

He plays 6 fairly regularly for the u20s.
