IMO it was never going to result in a ban!! Which is what makes the on report thing a get out of jail card! If the ref saw it and thought it was worthy of looking at surely 10 mins should be given! Then sin bin sufficient cant be argued with!

once again they have shown what a joke they are with regards to bring players to task ie bailey and ablett.wether you like the aussie system or not had this happened over there these two players would have been out for weeks and rightly so.justice in our game depends which club you play for.this makes a mockery of the punishment handed out to coley.

Your team rallies when down to 12, work harder for each other and the team. Obviously will tire quicker dependant on the timescale though.

I still maintain that if the video ref is present and a player is put on report.
Then the video ref should determine if the player should be sent off.
Or the match day ref reviews it using video eveidence.
The panel can then debate if the sending off was sufficient or the player is banned for x matches.
In this case Ablett gets sent off plus maybe a further 1 or 2 game ban.
That way the team who are offended against benefit.
