A replacement for Lam I think, then we got Moran instead?

Jamie Lyon..........Mo was 'warned off' him by an agent in Aus who thought he would not see out any contract in the UK because of his 'tendencies to go walkabout', instead we signed Vaealiki, and the rest as they say, is history !!!!

Yeah - one's that actually true.
Nat Wood had a deal agreed with Wigan when he had a year left on his Warrington contract - Wigan had offered two years. Wigan backed out of the deal and Wood played the following year with warrington and injured his neck the back-end of that season. Wood retired at the end of the season and did lap of honour type thing etc saying his goodbyes. The neck injury only came to light when he returned to Australia and looked at the option of playing with Souths.
Could you ask your "player playing at the time ..... any better source than that" how he knew about Woods neck injury 12 months before it happened? Unless of course the player was Kevin "Darren" Brown. |
