Quite. Noble had plenty of time to prove himself so lets give this guy the same.

Its going to take a good few months for his methods, style and tactics to take effect. Im not saying next year is going to be another "development" year as I do expect to see improvements but to expect silverware or even final appearences in his first season is just short sighted.

Hopefully he will breathe fresh air into the club and take us to the next level as well as get us playing an exciting brand of RL.

I am not saying I know that but he has been coaching the backs at Melbourne and they play superb rugby and can keep it simple when it needs to be. Wane can get our forwards running in hard, our academy run with more agression than the first team.

Could well be right fella, Wane has certainly done a good job with the young players and Maguire has been successful and worked under a top coach at Melbourne.

But then again, Maguire won't have Inglis/Slater/Smith etc at Wigan and will be under a lot of pressure as a head coach.

Interesting times - looks like there could be 4 or 5 genuinely strong sides next year in Saints/Leeds/Wigan/Wire/Hull.

Andy vice versa...it could make all the pro Nobby fans look rather silly if Wigan make noticeable strides.

Don't get me wrong, I'll be backing him all the way and hoping he can take us that extra step. All I'm saying is if he's done less than What Noble did in 3 years time it will be interesting to hear from the Nobby bashers, that's all.
