| Leeds 11200 ish. 2000 less than their previous lowest attendance, and 5000 less than the game v Hull KR in July.
Saints just over 6000. More than 2000 less than their lowest league gate, 1000 less than against Catalan in the Cup and 2600 less than the game against Huddersfield last month.
I hope Wigan manage to buck the trend but I'm now expecting a sub 11K attendance tomrrow.
The pricing structure for the first round of the playoffs has clearly not worked.

| Actual crowds or should that be attendances?
Leeds 11,220
Stains 6,157
Wakey 4,008.
Is it the price or just that people find the play-offs tedious?
by the way I`ll be there tonight.

| Season Tickets should get you in the ground for play-off games, that is clear for all to see.
Leeds and Saints have clearly lied about their crowds.

| Its not rocket science - in any sport where the regular season ticket holders have to pay full admission the crowds go down. Whether it be the FA cup, Super League playoffs whatever - the result's the same.

What about the champions league?
FA cup? Alot of crowds go up!
We need to make it so a season ticket gets you into all games.

I can't speak for Leeds, but our place looked half empty last night. There were whole blocks of seats with no-one sitting there and I had more space around me on the terrace than when we played a friendly against Widnes before this season started!
Hudds, however, turned up in very good numbers and with great voice (although we seriously challenged them on the latter this time!).
We probably had about 5,200 Saints fans there last night. It was like visiting the 80s all over again!

The Champions League is hardly a like for like comparison - its probably the most popular competition in the world. Besides, some crowds do go down - Liverpool certainly were nowhere near selling out last week and don't some clubs have some way of incorporating CL games into season tickets.
Check the crowds for the FA Cup 3rd round games this year, I guarantee they'll be down.
I agree with the last statement in principle but financial and practical aspects mean we'll need to find another way around it.

It's down to boring rugby. Our game is exciting enough compared to other sports! It's the greatest game on the earth we are not one of the sports who needs top 8's with teams choosing and putting new rules in every year and all that jazz, I WANT TO WATCH SOME RUGBY!
