i agree it wont, and they got through on the skin of their teeth last time. football is very unloyal sport when you come to the big teams. manchester , liverpool have fans worldwide. rugby isn't the same and you cant compare the two. i live and work in wakey and if you suggested anything to do with cas and fev you would get a few few choice words. clicky, proud areas. maybe in close proximity but that is it. you can't compare it to internationally recognised football teams with players from all over the world. wakefield is wakefield and ask the fans of that club. there is nothing else. mentioning cas and fev doesn't come into the equation.

the vast majority are. the towns are very very loyal to their clubs, you go to wakey you see wakey fans. you go to cas you see cas fans, and fev is such a small place you never see anything but. its far more clicky than wigan /saints/warrington, there was nearly riot when they suggested a merger.

as for long, i think saints have already offered a deal but long wants two years, i personally think he will go elsewhere and maybe sign myler which will be a travesty for us

approach salford with the idea of signing myler and letting him continue at salford for a year or maybe even two?

Well, thats a tough one, last night he was very good and if he could recreate that even every three games i'd be happy, but its the first time i've seen it this season. Saints need to rest longy for a couple of matches and play eastmond for the full 80 to see what he can do. If he makes it then bye bye longy. If he doesn't we're in a right mess! Matty Smith seems to be doing a job at Celtic so maybe we should recall him? Its a real dilema for us at the moment and i worry if Potter has the balls to make the hard decisions
