| Quote Pemps="Pemps"Reading the details of the incident, it seems all Pryce has done (apart from go to the flat) is push a man over who came towards him with a rounders bat.
When Ben Cockayne doesn't get a jail sentence for [url=http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/news/Cockayne-suspended-assault/article-884408-detail/article.htmlthis[/url then Pryce shouldn't be anywhere near a jail sentence. Although maybe a ban from playing in his local derby would be a good punishment
'"
I agree. This incident with Cockayne seemed far worse than these two idiots, a brutal attack on a man on the ground in full view of CCTV. IMO this is a far greater crime and should have lead to a custodial sentence. I feel that the precedence was set by the courts by not sending cockayne down. I know that these two incidents are completely separate, but the nature of them both including RL players means there is always going to be comparisons made.
Reference the Reardon incident. I agree that it was a stupid thing to do, but can you blame the lad? She was having an affair, who knows what was running through his head. We as observers cannot even begin to imagine the pain he was feeling. If anything Pryce should have talked him out of it, not lead him on, which seems to be the case (this is an opinion, not fact). In cases like this (and Fekas) there are mitigating circumstances that have to be taken in to account. I feel the sentence(s) were fair. Cockyane on the other hand should have got sent down.

No they wouldnt. Read the facts of the case before you make moronic statements. I have seen so much worse on nights out and in general and the police leave it at a warning.

| One of the worse things Reardon did was text to his ex's boyfriend that their son was in hospital when he wasn't, just so she's open the door.
I find that quite sick.

People can do stupid things when they're desperate.
St Helens will decide Pryce's fate from their club's standpoint next week.
