My point is that at no point during the game other than perhaps after French's final try with little time left did I feel that we would lose that game. Had I been given a charity bet in play at any time during the game (bar the above) I would've bet on Saints as I thought we were the better team. No metrics, no stats, just my own thoughts. They are still the best at what they do. The difference now is I think we have the abilities to counteract that and the fight to take it to them.

It's no longer a foregone conclusion when we meet, but they are still probably favourites albeit a -2-6 point start with the bookies rather than 12-18 and you'd still lump on.
