I think there is nothing wrong with what he has said in the past couple of days. The 'thinly veiled reference at wigan' doesnt sound like a 'thinly veiled' reference when you remember his team has actually his team has been accused of that.

But as the answer to a question along the lines of 'some people say Leeds are a dirty side how do you defend that?' there would be nothing controversial in the answer "Our players play within the rules. We never go out to intentionally use any tactics that can hurt another player and we'll continue to do that.

Its a little bit of naughty journalism, The Sinfield quote is taken completely out of context which is funny because the article allows you to listen to the actual conversation and the inference of the article bears no relation to what Sinfield actually said.
