Thank you for at least making a sensible reply - more than some of your colleagues could manage.
We'll have to agree to disagree on the content though - personally, I think it's a massive leap of faith to suggest that all the criticism of Maguire's tactics are invalid and that it's all a bandwagon that Nathan Brown put into motion; that suggests a case of mass hysteria that I just can't buy into. |

But you'll happily buy into the mass hysteria surrounding Sam, our tactics, etc, etc? Just call it for what it is - we are the Man U of RL. I don't expect everyone to be ecstatic at our resurgence but to claim we are actually damaging the sport is total cr4p. If you want to look at clubs doing just that you would be well advised starting very much closer to home. |

Spot on re the damage done to the game.
We develop young quality players as Leeds and Saints do but someothers cant be bothered. Damage is one to our game by clubs who do not develop them. But rather wait and feed off the scraps we let go. |

How do you think bandwagon's get started? Someone has a daft idea and others jump on. Until Brown said what he did I doubt the thought had crossed Kear's mind. Or any other coaches for that matter. Nor it's just a predictable sound bite.
If bandwagon doesn't suit your view of the comments made about how Wigan play because that means it's mass hysteria how about cliché? It's at least that IMO.
Do you know what? I am glad the Internet wasn't freely available in the 80's and 90's when we were so successful. I dread to think what would have been posted back then. |
