Peet has just said that’s the plan in as many words but the team isn’t carrying out the plan. If we don’t score again before half time we can fully write the game off.

I’m not a fan of OTT positivity either, particularly when a team has lost every battle on the field but we are where we are. I will offer one mitigation in the team’s defence, the six again rule kills us against a big team. Catalans just lie on, take the defensive reset and stifle any kind of attacking play we can offer.

I disagree, Catalans defence doesn’t look great when we get in their half, no reason if we got on a roll we couldn’t score 2/3 try’s in a short period like they have. It’s not likely but I still feel we have a fighting chance.

It seems like it’s the only way to win but we our offloading game isn’t great, I just think open the game up and hopefully our quick players can exploit players struggling with the heat. We need Smith to convert some of these try’s too.

No way we can afford the number of basic errors we've been making against a team like Catalans. We knew we'd struggle in the forward battle but with handling errors, kicks out on the full and obstruction penalties you have no chance.

The inconsistency in fundamentals has been 6 weeks running now. Not impossible to come back and we sneak a try early but a tough watch so far.
