Presuming he is fit enough to play, I’d put Tommy in that 17th spot and ask him to spell Brad O’Neill I think. I really feel for Shorrocks but it gives us a far better balance in there.

Looking at the training pictures, the team seems to have been running opposed sessions against lads not playing. The non playing lads are in St Judes kits (fine details they’re going in to playing them in Huddersfield colours) and included Isa and Partington, so they definitely look to be missing out.

No Fages is a big loss. Still expect a tough game, but I'd have us as favourites with him out and Tommy on the bench.

We won't risk Tommy if he isn't ready and we shouldn't do.

Shorrocks at 9 isn't great, but it's a far better option than losing a sub and O'Neill having to do longer minutes than he is used to.

I wouldn’t risk him no but if he’s fit giving him the 20 min stint when O’Neil goes of is great. Him being named alone should be causing Watson headaches

If he's fit I think that he will start.
Personally I can't see why he'd be in the 21 unless he is playing. It won't change how Huddersfield will prepare or play.
It will mean O'Neil will miss out which would be for me a wrong move.

It would certainly beef up the defence but Shorrocks at 9 for me just doesn't work.

I hope that he is.
Ideally I would want both teams to be at or near to full strength.
