Bateman seems a cert for centre. It could depend where he plays Bibby and Halsall.
Good to have Ellis back and hopefully O'Neil will get a bench place to interchange with Powell.

I'd prefer Isa at centre - Bateman needs to be in the forwards. Bibby should be dropped after his performance on Friday - he was dreadful in all aspects I'm afraid. He will likely play but if he does I'd want him on the wing.

I had sympathy with French - played out of position and simply didn't trust Bibby after his early struggles. At the very least I would have played Bevan on the right (where he played in the NRL) and Miski on the left (where he played all last year).

In the context of what he's done in the past, this breach is minor. He breached an alcohol ban in the run up to Good Friday.

However, he's supposed to be a professional. How hard can it be to stay off the beer for a few days, like the rest of his team mates did?

If he can't do the basic things asked of him and his team mates, he's not a team player so the sooner he's moved on the better.

French had no faith in Bibby handling Hurrell, he felt he had to double up, which left Makinson with more space than he should have had. To be fair I had the same lack of faith in Bibby and would have done the same had I been French.

Well whether it was lack of faith or just lack of intelligence he made a lot of wrong decisions. Easy to blame faith in your centre when you do the wrong things.

Hurrell looked like bursting Bibby every time. Pretty sure he did it to him when we played Leeds and we ended up moving him to other side of the field. Only thing Bevan could have done was stick on his wing and watch Bibby get rolled no win situation.
