| Poor form or not Hill would be a huge loss. Much like I'm sure we'll be a different side on Saturday to the one we've seen in recent weeks, I'm sure they will be as well and Hill would've lead that imo.
I can't apologise for hoping he's banned because he's a fabulous player.

The absence of Brown, Gidley, Evans, Atkins, Russell, Hill and a few others could result in higher ticket sales from the Warrington fans too.

We need all the help we can get at the minute and I too will be quite content to see him sit this one out!

Did Wire rest players yesterday or are they injured?
I looked at your side and you presumed they were putting their feet up ready for ours and yours 'last chance saloon' game.

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10174.png |

| Wigan fans need to show up in big numbers here, this is best shot at silverware now. Forget the recent horror shows, we've got some big names returning and it'd be great to stick it up Wire and dump them out on their own ground.
Let's ave it!

| Westerman has the early guilty plea available which will mean just a fine so I'm sure they'll take that.
Ultimately it doesn't really matter what team Wire have out. We need to turn up and concentrate and play like we know we can in big games. If we do that we're a shot but if not then it'll be the perfect opportunity for Wire to play their way out of their rut with a mountain of points.

Missing injured for Warrington yesterday were Russell, Evans, Atkins, Toby King, Livett, Brown, Gidley, Crosby, Currie and Westwood. Nobody was rested.
Brown, Gidley and Atkins should be back for Saturday, we are desperate for Currie to return but he's at least a month away.

3 props in a 17 man squad is not how we play when we are at our best. This together with so many players who are not match fit could be our Achilles heel. Sincerely hope I'm wrong but I think the players coming back could be too late for this game and more importantly for me for our chances in SL.

The other option is Bateman could start in place of ISA.
That would mean we have FPN and Sutton as starting props, T and Joel on Bench as replacement props and ISA To give lockers a 20 minute breather either side of HT.
4 props of FPN, Sutton, T and Joel would be ok.

| I think Bateman has to start if he's fit. If there's the slightest doubt around Tomkins, then I think it could be a massive risk playing him. Hope i'm proven wrong though...

| The only doubts would be around match fitness you'd think. I cannot see them taking any sort of risk with the injury so fingers crossed they'll be able to get him through the game. We need Tomkins the most imo because Tierney is no fullback. If they don't think Tomkins is ready but Gelling is then they need to look at another option at the back.

| Been informed (take it as you wish, I am) that Bateman will be playing Sat, but there is still some doubt about S Tomkins, so wouldn't be surprised if he missed out. As someone has already said if he's not 100% don't risk him.
