May well be.
We'd still be missing 6 or 7 from our strongest side either way.

| Quote NickyKiss="NickyKiss"Finally a fair enough summary.
Struggling to see how Dwyer and Ratchford fit on your bench unless you're dropping a back rower but it's the closest I've seen.

Because Ratch plays every position except 8 and 10, sometimes Currie is shifted to centre to accommodate more forwards on the pitch then switches into the pack during the game.

| But the story it doesn't tell is although we have on paper our strongest side, they're playing week in week out because they can't be rotated, so on paper they look strong but they are going into games with knocks and niggles.

| You're playing out your skin if that there is no doubt. We were lucky last night that Sandow went off or else it could have got out of hand. It was a strange game because both sides have come away pretty happy with it which is unusual in such a big game when one side has won reasonably comfortably.
The next Wigan and Wire game should be a belter.

| Frankly I agree with Pacific.
The quality of this league is dire at the moment and has been sliding that way for a few years.
We're missing far too many quality, experienced players to complain about that performance last night. With the salary cap / our business plan what it is, you can't miss 6 starters and expect a result.

| I don't remember much sympathy from the Wigan fans for us in the grand final a couple of years ago when we lost key players in controversial circumstances and ended up with briers on the wing.

A bit of a "one-eyed view" on things (a little like our Harry Sunderland winner that day).....and we know he he got that don't we?

He might be wrong about the team but I'd say what he suggested is a stronger one than having Lockers at prop and Bateman at 13. I don't see much ball handling skills from Bateman and he seems much more suited to 2nd row and if Lockers is a prop when we already have Clubb, Flower, Tautai, Crosby, Mossop and Sutton (plus Burke if he is now a prop) we have far to much salary cap tied up in props.

Controversial circumstances? Monaghan got injured by ducking into a tackle against Richards' leg
Ratchford got injured by a legal tackle by Hansen, end of.
Briers played fullback not wing.
Westwood DELIBERATELY punched Green in the face while on the floor and fractured his eye socked in the first few seconds!
Delusional.

| This is boring now.
It doesn't matter who was missing the most players. The fact remains that both teams are yet to have fully fit squads this season, meaning rotation is difficult especially over Easter, which is another cause for the injuries suffered during the game.
Yes Wigan were missing more first team players but you can never write Wigan off when they're backs are against the wall. You can only play what's in front of you and on this occasion we got the 2 points, in 4 weeks time hopefully both sides have players back and we can see a cracking game.
What's clear to see though is at full strength we are the two best sides in the competition easily.
Hopefully people can stop arguing now over who's got the busier physio.

| I saw my team beaten by an in-form Warrington. The result would have been more emphatic but for the injury to Sandow and our lads positive response in the second half. I'm very proud of our lads effort but we were second best on the night.

| Hey Pacific, looks like another moral victory today, look how good Wigan are doing since getting rid of Mick turner, and, maybe you should sign Theo fages.
I think that covers all yer threads.
