He actually did ok didn't lose the ball much unlike most others with the stray pass near the end lack of help from the lethargic pack and had a few good runs at the line. I have seen worse debuts for us.

There were some positive signs for sure but he's obviously very raw and a long way off which is to be expected. His natural instincts of hopping around on the spot waiting for some big, lumbering 6ft 10 Union forwards to jump on him made me chuckle. He seemed to be grasping it more by the end though and was getting in to a forward motion quicker.

He certainly gave it everything so well done him.

Well I have just got back and I ain't in the best of moods after having to turn around and go back almost to the DW because bloody slip road at the A49 was shut so I can back via Orrell. That is after having to work today so my journey as I went home to pick up my son for the game was Runcorn-Chester-Wigan-Orrell-Chester.

So you can factor that into my thoughts on Powell if you like.

He looked clueless. Now some might say he's new to the team but players like Talyor don't look clueless when they join a new team. They know how to play RL. Powell has a lot to learn and God knows where he is going to learn it because the first team isn't the right place.

Physically? He doesn't look like an RL player. His muscle definition is just not what you expect to see and he looked pretty slow and pretty ponderous to me.

That's it really, nothing more to say because that was all there was to his contribution.

Think you wanted him to fail hence your summary. I think he went ok considering everything and look forward to his next game

thought he did alright going forward, he looked a bit lost in the defensive line at times and at some points was leaving huge gaps between himself and the next man but eventually clicked on and moved across, over all not a bad debut seen as he was thrown in a lot sooner than anyone would have thought he would be

l was there travelled a lo further than you. Pissed just as you but unlike you I watched the game to make my opinion you made yours on the way to the game. He was ok got better in defence as the game got on. Unfortunate that he had to play this week obviously needs a month at the scorpions. If you think he was poor and clueless then what did you make of Smith Green Richards Tierney and atleast another 4 I could mention who were awful and some of these have played over 100 games. Powell did ok in a poor game and was better than half the team. Errors by the players I mentioned cost us.
