If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

Ask em how the "Envy-o-meter" is doing these days...

Can't get a word in they just keep talking about injuries! Don't even realise we have just as many we are just dealing with it better!

| Quote: jimlav "Walking back last night I was listening to countless Hull fans celebrating because they scored more than 6 and let in less than 80 as well as saying 'at least rovers have got Leeds this weekend, come on Leeds'.
I get the rivalry, I understand it feels good to be better than them, but when will Hull fans finally understand that the competition is not cross city, it's against all the other teams!
This is something I hear time and again, when something happens to one of the teams they justify it by pointing out something worse that the others went through.'"
thats why the hull derby is the only true derby!!
the rivalry between fc and kr is like no other!
as for the game, dissapointing to read some comments on here saying that wigan played poor and thats why the score was close! talk about arrogance! maybe hull fc didnt let wigan walk all over them like other teams and lay down and die, the team we had out i was fearing a hammering, yet we more than matched a virtually full strength wigan team, with a bit more luck we could have won the game. was told by my uncle that wigan fans are bad losers yet even worse winners, seen some of that on this topic as if wigan dont rack up a cricket score its because wigan played poorly!

| i dont know what it is with the hull fans trying to tell every man and he's dog that the hull derby is the best when for the past 20 years the wigan and saints one has been miles better than hulls.
It sounded like hull played a good game and got there selves up for it, shame you don't do it every week but there is no denying that wigan's defense is a lot better than that and we never drop as much ball as we did last night, its nothing to do with racking up a big score if we didn't drop off as many tackles and dropped so much ball then we wouldn't have played badly regardless of the scoreline.
Some serious attention seeking from hull fc after the game as if every one should say well done you gave us a game unlike hull kr, is that what you want to hear?

I'm sure it wasnt your intention but imo thats a bit respectful to two of the best youngsters in the competition. Big claim I know but give him two years and Tom Lineham will be the best winger in the league.

Not my intention at all! The fact that Wane felt the need to pull Thornley off with 15 minutes to go shows how well the two of them played.
I think that given the right guidance Crooks and Lineham could go far. Long way to go yet and I'd hate to see them go the same way as other 'big things' like our very own Shaun Ainscough!

| Thought the game was a credit to rugby league and should of been on sky.. (But If Was No Doubt We (FC) Would Of Been Battered)
There were a few dubious decisions for both sides but overall a great game. thought you did play poor but also thought we got into your faces and didn't let you play to your potential.
However, Playing poor and still winning is a good sign. See you again at the DW

He is lying, just watched the highlights, Wigan's first try comes from a forward pass, Horne pass to Crooks is Ok.
Though Charnleys looked Ok from the camera angle.
Some you win , some you lose and I am sure that Hull got a couple of decisions our way, just maybe we didn't take advantage.
Both teams scored some great trys.

Just recently on twitter he said he got our first try wrong and Hulls second wrong so I guess it's swings and roundabouts.

Buddy, i don't know who you are trying to kid here. I live in hull, know many fans of both clubs, have been to the games, and they do not have a single thing over Wigan v Saints.
Been to Hull City games that entertain me more sometimes. it maybe the fact that only about 10% of the ground at the KC ever bothers to support the team (east stand towards the away supporters), the rest of the people are just there to shout abuse at the ref and call forward passes almost as much a St Helens.

| Whilst we are talking about debatable try's i have to bring up hulls 1st. Whiting runs right at Green, Knocks him back a yard or so, FC player runs right through that gap into green who is now behind the rest of his line and the line has been broken.
It was a good offload for the try, but if whiting does not knock Green behind the rest of the Wigan line i am sure that try would not have been scored off that play. Its only a yard or so but it gives the FC player a target to get through the initial defensive line.
Its one of those that nobody knows the exact rule about. It certainly contributed to the try.
