Both teams were niggly all game, Mcillorum, Hock, Lauaki, O'loughlin were all at it too. Nothing occurred that warranted anyone recieving a ban.

Abblett on Tomkins didnt even get looked at. Hock got banned for a gouge even though the player he apparantley did it to backed him up that he didnt.

Bailey with yet another swinging arm gets away with nothing maybe due to his past good record?

Leeds kick it off with Mcilorum yet he is the one getting the caution? WTF?

No, but in the context of the topic, my point is none of these warranted a ban which is what my Cherry and White counterparts seem to think should have happened.

And, Ill have to disagree, hock is NOT a much better player than Ablett.

Lee smith is a waster and should have at least got a caution/word about technique for that, so that when he does it again he can be rightly banned.

ablett is nothing more than a thug, I've yet to see him produce anything particularly skillful, except managing to nail a prone Tomkins last year and has done nothing but continue to be a niggling thug, constantly throwing in cheap shots, an eye gouge on Saturday is just the latest example.

FWIW, it doesn't appear to be the knees in on Charnley that Smith was pulled up for - it's a different incident about ten mins after the first try, on Goulding, according to the description on the RFL site.
