The CC was a nice day out.

Sadly that good feeling didn't last that long. It's just not as fulfilling as being the champs and that's where I think we to be.

Ignoring the jibe with the Bronco's badge....Agree with all this. It'd be different if he was saying 'we'll win all 3' but he's not saying that. It's about instilling a winning mindset - if you're one of the top teams then you should go out with the intention & pressure of wanting to win every game.

Much rather have this than BN's approach of thinking it was OK to lose a shedload of games at the start of the season & then catch up. It leads to a weak mentality when you start to accept losing. And OK, Leeds managed it last year, but that won't happen every season - and I doubt very much that they went out with that intent at the start of the year.

I also think last year with Leeds, McDermott in instilled a 'Us vs Them' backs against the wall mentality with his team, after they were slated in the press for so long. This went along way to raise the team's spirits and believe they could go on and win, and let's face it - they had the players to do so.

We should be aiming to win everything every year - why be in the competition if you're not in it to win it? Defeats the object. I'd rather have the GF than the CC this year, but if we could do both it would be amazing.

Very hard to do both since the cup final date was moved.

Wire and ourselves have all seen promising seasons slip away after Wembley wins.

If you get to all the way to the final it's like you've already played three huge playoff games already.

It takes it all out of you.

The fall away after the cup final is a mental issue. It is for everyone.

We played Wire, Saints and Leeds in knockout footy well before the playoffs. It must take it out of the players.

Someone will get an easy cup run one year and win both but no one will do It with a run like we had.

Saints already have 2006

The play-offs for the teams finishing first and second have changed considerably since 2006. It's much more difficult now for them, wrongly in my opinion.

This season there is only one team who are good enough to truly say they are going for all 3 trophies.
