Not seen the details of the loan yet. Can Marsh be recalled? I would think that we'd give ourselves the option to bring him back should the need arise given how thin our squad is at centre. Personally I think this works out well for us. Marsh would learn nothing from playing another year in the 20's and we will get to see if he is capable of playing at Super League level. If he plays well give him a new deal

Season-long loans will happen more and more often with fringe young players who can't be guaranteed game time. Leeds have done it with a fair few players now, and playing a full season in SL is far better experience than the Academy. They all either return or go eslewhere as better players than they would have been otherwise.
